About the author:
Michael Miller is a Certified Journeyman Farrier, and is only the fourth US citizen to be awarded the Fellowship of the Worshipful Company of Farriers. He has been a farrier for more than 40 years, initially working with gaitred horses, then show junmpers and hunters. He is also an orthopaedic trauma surgeon. He lives in Huntsville, Alabama.
