Hoof Hardener can be used in conjunction with shoeing, but some owners choose the hardener as a complete alternative and run their horses barefoot.

When my horse went barefoot she was very sensitive and got a few chips and splits...my farrier recommended this product...been using it for two months now and am very happy with the product!! Even my farrier was impressed with how quickly i got the product and the price and has asked my for the website details so he can order products too!!

After deciding to try and go barefoot i was about to give up until using hoof hardener ,it took a while but after continous application i really did start to notice a difference in my horses hoof less stone cavities and less resistance to try rough stoney ground ,its working for our 4 horses and even the two donkeys whose feet always usually have problems in the winter as nz climate is not kind to a donkeys hoof.i will continue to use on a rugular basis ,and belive me id tried everythimg else.
